If you’ve been dreaming about senior pictures at the beach but don’t want every image to look the same, Jetty Park is one of my favorite locations in Central Florida.
One of my favorite things about Jetty Park is how much variety you get in one location. You have the sea oats, the beach, the rock jetties, the boardwalk, gorgeous sunsets, and if the timing is right, you might even catch a cruise ship sailing out of Port Canaveral.

I love that you can get so many different looks without ever leaving the park. We can start in the sea oats, head to the beach, climb out on the rocks, walk the boardwalk, and finish with an amazing sunset. If our timing lines up, we might even catch a cruise ship leaving Port Canaveral.
I also love how every senior makes this location look different. A flowy dress, jeans and boots, something dressy, something casual… it all works here. I’ve photographed so many seniors at Jetty Park, and no two galleries have ever looked alike. That’s one of the reasons I keep coming back.

One of my favorite things about Jetty Park is how much variety we can create in one session. The Best Time of Day for Senior Pictures at Jetty Park
always recommend scheduling Jetty Park senior sessions about two hours before sunset. This gives us the best light of the day while also giving us plenty of time to explore the different areas of the park.
As the sun gets lower in the sky, the light becomes softer, warmer, and more flattering. We can start in the sea oats or around the lifeguard stand, move to the rock jetties, and finish on the beach as the sun sets over the water. The result is a gallery filled with beautiful variety and that gorgeous golden glow everyone loves.
Golden hour is my favorite time for senior pictures at Jetty Park. Scheduling your session a couple of hours before sunset gives us beautiful light and plenty of time to explore everything the park has to offer.

Yes. Jetty Park charges $15 per vehicle for daily admission (pricing is subject to change), so be sure to plan for that when budgeting for your session. The good news is that once you’re inside, you’ll have access to one of the most beautiful and versatile senior photo locations on Florida’s Space Coast.
What should I bring to my senior session?
Bring your outfits on hangers, comfortable shoes to walk between locations, water, and anything you’ll need for quick touch-ups like a brush, lipstick, or powder. If you’re planning to end your session in the water, don’t forget a towel and a change of clothes for the ride home.
How many outfits should I bring?
I recommend bringing 2–4 outfits, depending on the collection you choose. Since Jetty Park has so many different backdrops, changing outfits helps create a gallery that looks like we photographed at several different locations.
Can we end the session in the water?
Absolutely! Some of my favorite images happen during the last few minutes of a session when seniors are willing to get a little wet. If you’re up for it, we’ll finish by splashing in the waves for fun, carefree photos you’ll never forget.
What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
Florida weather likes to keep us on our toes! I always keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your session. If the weather isn’t safe or conditions just aren’t ideal, we’ll simply reschedule for another date.
How long does a Jetty Park senior session last?
Most Jetty Park senior sessions last between one and two hours, depending on the collection you choose. That gives us plenty of time for outfit changes and allows us to photograph throughout the park as the light changes.
